She has had the opportunity to teach theatre overseas, in at risk programs, at TETA, and even in professional theatres. Throughout her university career, she has gained experience in directing, carpentry, design, combat, theatre administration, and stage management. It is her dream to use her knowledge of theatre to inspire hope, ignite imagination, and instill a love of learning in diverse students. She believes that through a theatre education students can identify their unique voice and use that voice as a tool to positively impact their community. |

[email protected] Instagram: director_d_wehs Courses:Production Tech, Tech Theatre I, Tech Theatre 2-4 Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in vocal performance from Adams State College Mrs.DiPasquale (Mrs.D) came to Wylie East in 2019. She holds a teaching certification in five states. Mrs.D married her high school sweetheart, John, and they have three adult children. Mrs. D most recently was a theatre director at Willow Springs Middle School where she directed OAP for 12 years with ten 1st place wins and two 2nd place wins. In the summer she works with The Perfect Performance Theatre Summer Camp in Lewisville, Texas. Mrs. D has led her students to three Outstanding Costume nominations at Broadway Dallas High School Theatre Music Awards and her student designers won Outstanding Costume Design in 2022 for their work in Anastasia the Musical. Austin University Mr. Morris officially began teaching in Grand Prairie ISD in 2020 as a Theatre Director. During his time in Grand Prairie, Mr. Morris successfully revitalized a 6 - 8 program while consistently winning and overachieving in local Thespian contests & MS UIL One-Act Play. Before returning to his DFW roots to be a teacher, Mr. Morris worked professionally in non-traditional education as a Teaching Artist in Portland, ME for the Portland Stage Company. Mr. Morris spent time in Philadelphia, PA serving at both the Walnut St. Theatre and The Arden. Additionally, he served as an AmeriCorps member for two years with YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School as an assistant teacher & community service projects coordinator. Mr. Morris aims to use his gifts as an educator and artist to cultivate, inspire, and drive young minds to pursue their dreams with the skills that come with working & learning in theatrical spaces. Mr. Morris believes anyone can be a theatre artist regardless of background and circumstance - all they need is a little imagination!
